In Structural Silicone Glass Facade Sidings, the glasses are adhered by special chemicals (structural silicone) to cassettes which are formed from aluminum profiles in these systems in which the vertical and horizontal aluminum facade carcasses and the sub-construction are built.
Later, glassed cassettes are connected to the aluminum carcasses by system apparatuses. They bring to your building a nice view from outlook aspect because only 15mm-wide glass grouts and 15mm-depth joints look like thin lines in vertical and horizontal.
Since the caulking among the glass panels is provided by double EPDM cords, no tightness silicone is applied among the panels. All glass modules are available to be invisible casements which can be opened outward with a mechanism and additional handle (without showing which one is opening when looking from outside where they are closed) if wished. The insulating glasses used in silicone facades are produced in special silicone filled and graded forms which are not affected from U.V. light. The insulating glasses are bonded, in the factory environment by distant identifier band (Norton Band) and bonding silicone (General Electric, Dow Corning, etc.), to the cassettes which are produced according to the system detail. Any problems which may arise during the process are prevented by testing compliance between the bonding silicone and the insulation glass.
The feature of the facade system with cover is that the 50mm-wide aluminum profiles are seen in the vertical and horizontal when the facade is looked from outside. In this system, the cover division seen from outside has various alternatives in different shapes and colors. The facades with covers are formed by screwing and tightening the press profiles in the proper bearings of the glass which has been placed on the aluminum sub-carcasses which have already adjusted and making them imperious and then by completing mounting by placing the cover profile-in the required size in its bearing. Heat, sound, and water insulation with glass in the profiled connected to the facade with cover mechanically is obtained by EPDM cords like in silicone facade. In that system, requirement for opening casements are ensured by profiled called as casement adaptor profiles. By bonding glasses to these profiles with structural silicone, opening the casements is possible wherever required. The casements which are preferred in forms of adverse transom are available to be prepared by making the detail changing required by customers' wishes.
In the facade system with semi-cover, the mounting of glasses on the facade system is carried out with aluminum covers in the wished colors in the horizontal only. When it is looked from outside, effects of the horizontal covers provides the facade with an aesthetic view because the glasses combinations in the vertical seem like 15mm thin lines.
